About us
Bethel Worship Assembly is a church to invite people to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior; To bring people into the citizenship of the Kingdom of God; To help the development of individuals to be Christ-like, experience spiritual growth, and equip them for their life, family and ministry. We desire the lives of people to bring glory to God and make a contribution to the world by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. BWA desires to create an atmosphere that is conducive for worship. We celebrate God's presence. We evangelize to communicate God's word beyond the church. Through discipleship, we teach God's word for people to be educated and spiritually equipped in the word of God. Through serving, we demonstrate the love of God. We desire to reach those that feel lost, outcast and forgotten. We are a congregation that is progressive in teaching God's love and biblical truth, to bring about a change and difference in the lives of people. We strive to attract people from all nationalities and backgrounds, and value them as important members of the body of Christ and the church. We teach Christian discipleship to be a part of everyday life. We believe Christian living impacts, improves and enhances the social and domestic lifestyle. Our center point of focus is to worship enthusiastically in praise of God and in gratitude for God's blessings.
Worship is at the center of our unity. Together, through biblical teaching, prayers and song, we celebrate that nothing can separate us from the Love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. The purpose of BWA is to make an impact in the community, the city, and the world by sharing the saving grace message of Jesus Christ by making disciples for the Kingdom of GOD.
What we Believe
We believe in God as the creator of the world; creation of humanity and all that dwells in the earth. We believe in Jesus Christ the son of God, the promised Messiah who was the final and perfect sacrament for the world.
Jesus, was sent from heaven to earth to redeem mankind from the captivity of sin and death, and the bondage of religious law and tradition by the way of dying on the cross for the atonement of mankind sin.
We believe the death on the cross, the repentance of sin and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior gives humanity the graceful opportunity to enter into righteous fellowship with God the Father, and receives adoption into the Kingdom of God. Those who receive Jesus Christ as Lord, and lives a life of righteousness, receives the gift of eternal life in the coming new heaven and earth. We believe in the resurrection of Christ, and Him being the King of Kings. We believe in the baptism of receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, and operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and living a life style of Christian conduct. We believe in the teaching and preaching of the word of God and the Kingdom of God to bring life transformation and spiritual growth through the work of the Holy Spirit.
